آروماتراپی چیست؟

آروماتراپی علمیست که در آن با تأثیرگذاری بر حس بویایی، اثرات درمانی ایجاد می شود. یکی از کاربردهای اسانس های روغنی، رایحه درمانی است. آروما به معنای رایحه و تراپی به معنای درمان می باشد.
 واژه آروماتراپی از دو بخش تشکیل شده است: •  آروما (aroma) به معنای بو و رایحه

SANTALUM ALBUM — Sandalwood Oil. One of the oldest fra- grance components, this aromatic essential oil has been in use for over 4000 years for its deep, woody, long-lasting scent. Aldehydes: Aldehydes are aromatic chemicals that provide sparkle and lift to perfumes, and depending on their type, also provide their own scent. Aldehydes C-12 and lower (the C stands for carbon) provide sparkle; Aldehydes C-14 and higher add a fruit note. Chanel No. 5 and Guerlain Mitsouko are famous perfumes with aldehydes.
