محصولات معطر گیاهی - آروماتیک های گیاهی
عصاره به محصولات استخراج گفته می شود كه بر اساس مكانیزم «حلالیت» جداسازی گردیده اند.
کنستانتره (Concrete)
کنسانتره محصول استخراج مواد معطر از منابع گیاهی مانند برگها، پوست، گل‌ها و میوه‌هاست که استخراج توسط حلال هیدروکربنی انجام می‌شود. بعلت حلالیت کم کنسانتره استفاده از آنها محدود می‌باشد در بیشتر موارد کنسانتره به مقطر تبدیل می‌شود.
مقطر (Absolute)
بخش قابل حل در الکل از کنستانتره است که توسط استخراج با الکل از کنسانتره بدست می‌آید. مقطر، مایع و گاهی نیمه جامد است و از آن در عطرسازی استفاده می‌شود.
رزین ها (Resinoids)
مواد معطری هستند که با استخراج از مواد رزینی گیاه توسط حلالهای هیدروکربنی بدست می‌آیند.
تنتورها (Tinctures)
محلول‌های الکلی هستند که در عطرسازی با خیساندن مواد معطر با الکل آنها را بدست می‌آورند این مواد می‌توانند از منبع حیوانی مانند عنبر و مشک یا از منبع گیاهی مانند صمغ‌ها باشند.

مواد اولیه صنایع عطرسازی
مواد اولیه طبیعی صنایع عطر سازی به دو دسته گیاهی و حیوانی تقسیم بندی می گردد.مقطره یاسمین (jasmine absolute)
تنتور یاس با استخراج توسط هیدروکربن (معمولا پترولیوم اتر) از گیاه jasninum officinate تهیه می‌شود سپس کنسانتره یاس را با استخراج با الکل به مقطره (Absolute) تبدیل می‌کنند. کنستانتره یاس در مصر، مروکو، الجزایر، ایتالیا، فرانسه، ترکیه، اسپانیا، هند و آفریقای جنوبی تهیه می‌شود با وجود این مهمترین تولیدکننده مصر و بعد مروکو می‌باشد. این گیاه بطور وسیعی کشت می‌شود و نسبت به شرایط آب و هوایی بسیار آسیب‌پذیر است.

فرایند عصاره گیری یا استخراج
استخراج به روش جداسازی بر اساس مکانیزم حلالیت گفته می شود. استخراج یکی از مباحث عملیات واحد در مهندسی شیمی است که می تواند جداسازی مایع از مایع یا جداسازی فاز جامد از مایع باشد. در مبحث جداسازی عصاره از گیاهان، استخراج به روش هایی گفته می شود که در آن مواد مؤثره گیاه با مکانیزم حلالیت توسط یک حلال از گیاه جدا می شوند. این حلال می تواند غیر فرار یا فرار باشد. روغن ها و چربی ها از حلال های غیرفرار و گاز بوتان و گاز کربنیک از حلال های فرار به شمار می آیند.

استخراج با حلالهای فرار
این فرایند اولین بار توسط روبی کوت(Robiquet) در سال 1835 تجربه شد که گلهای Tonquille را با اتر استخراج نمود.
در حال حاضر از جمله حلالهایی که کاربرد وسیع دارد می توان پترولیم اتر و اتانول را نام برد.
استخراج اسانس با بوتان
استفاده از بوتان دوره جدیدی را برای تولید کنسانتره ها (concretes) آغاز کرد، این روش از بقیه روشها گرانتر است زیرا حلال در حرارت معمول نیست بلکه در دمایی بین 10- تا 20- درجه سانتی گراد کار می کند.

آشنایی با تولید خمیردندان
ساخت خمیردندان در مخازن از جنس فولاد ضدزنگ یا ظرف های قلع اندود باشد. ماشین ورزدهنده که با آن خمیر هم می زنند و پره های مماس با جداره دارد و با سرعت پایین می چرخد برای این کار مناسب است.
در صورتی که خمیر برای مدت طولانی نگهداری می شود استفاده از نگهدارنده الزامی است. سدیم کربوکسی متیل سلولز باید ابتدا با مقدار کافی آب داغ خیس شود در حالی که متیل سلولز بهتر است با آب سرد خیس شود. آب باقیمانده سپس به محلول کنسانتره اضافه می شود و یک شب زمان داده می شود. اگر ماده جاذب الرطوبه استفاده نشده باشد، برای تهیه ژل می تواند مقدار مناسب از آن در این مرحله اضافه شود.

دهانشویه چیست؟
دهان شویه ها دو دسته هستند: دهان شویه های معمولی : فقط از محلول آبی الکلی روغن های معطر هستند و فقط بوی بد دهانرا از بین می برند و احساس طراوت به دهان می دهند. دهان شویه های درمانی : که حاوی آنتی سپتیک و مواد قابض هستند و برای درمان بیماری های لثه و درمان درد در لثه های حساس استفاده می شود.
دهان شویه ها گاهی به صورت کنسانتره و غلیظ شده عرضه می شوند. در این صورت، دستورالعمل رقیق کردن آنها قبل از استفاده به وضوح باید به مصرف کننده آموزش داده شود و روی لیبل بسته بندی محصول و همچنین روی بسته بندی نهایی درج شود تا از دیگر دهان شوینده ها تشخیص داده شود.
