About Tehran

The population of Tehran is 8.5 million people. If you travel to Tehran, you can see a variety of natural and tourist attractions; because Tehran has both mountains and deserts as well as jungles. Ancient Persians way of thinking is depicted on the Islamic paintings in the museum of Reza Abbasi. Tehran province has an area of 19000 square kilometers. Damavand is iran’s highest mountain at an altitude of 5678 meters. Tehran temperature will pick, up to 40 degrees Celsius in the summer and will reach -5 degree Celsius in the winter. During the past 200 years, Tehran has changed a lot and been transformed from a village to a big city.
