FRUIT ACIDS — A group of acids naturally occurring in fruits and herbs, used in cosmetics for thousands of years to clear and smooth the complexion. They work by loosening the “glue” that holds the outer layer of cells to the surface of your skin, there- by encouraging exfoliation and more rapid turnover of skin cells. The patented trade name for fruit acids is Alpha-hydroxy acids, which are synthetically derived in most commercial formulations. (Alpha-hydroxy acids are now common ingredients in cosmetics, but were originally used as solvents in cleaning compounds and for tanning leather.) Some natural sources for fruit acids include bilberry herb, black currant, grapefruit, tomato, wine and grapes (glycolic, malic, pyruvic, benzylic, citric, tartaric and lactic acids). GALACTOARABINAN — A polysaccharide extracted from the larch tree. In sun care products, it improves the SPF of sunscreens by reducing par ticle size of ingredients, increasing their ability to disperse onto the skin. Has antioxidant proper ties. (INCI dictionary)

PRUNUS ARMENIACA — Apricot Kernels, Apricot Seeds. Ground into a powdered form, these ingredients are added to exfo- liating masks and scrubs for their smoothing effect on the skin. (INCI dictionary)

SESAMUM INDICUM — Sesame Oil. Similar to avocado oil, this rich emollient is high in linoleic and oleic fatty acids. Often used as a carry- ing agent for other ingredients in cosmetic formulations. (INCI dictionary)

SILICA — A mineral used as a thickener and stabilizer. In sun care products, it works synergistically to increase the efficiency of sun care ingredients. (INCI dictionary)

Accord: In the same way you hold down several notes in music to create a chord that has a unique sound, in perfume, an accord is a scent made up of several perfume notes, or ingredients, that blend together to form a distinct fragrance. Base note: The term for the heaviest ingredients, molecularly, in a perfume formula, as well as those that one may notice after the top notes and heart notes. Concentration: There are four major concentrations of fragrance you can buy. They reflect not only the longevity of fragrance, but also its ingredients and qualities. From the least concentrated (smaller perfume oil ratio in relation to alcohol) to highest: Eau de Cologne, with around 2–5 % perfume oils; Eau de Toilette, with around 5–20% perfume oils; Eau de Parfum, with around 10–30% perfume oils; and Extrait or Extract, at around 20—40% concentration. Oriental perfume: A major category of perfume distinguished by the use of warm, ambery, sweet notes like vanilla, tonka, benzoin, and amber. The ingredients are oft-associated with the Middle East—like frankincense/incense, and amber. Henna Color: Henna is a plant that contains a deep red dye used as a natural form of hair coloring. The active component in henna is lawsone, which binds itself to keratin (human hair protein) and washes away after several months- making it a semi-permanent color. Variations to the deep red color can be found as a result of mixing ingredients from other plants and vegetables, and even synthetic dyes. Sometimes, however, these synthetic dyes can cause some damage to the hair shaft. رنگ مو چیست؟

رنگ موها یکی از مهمترین محصولات آرایشی بهداشتی مو هستند. در کشورهای توسعه یافته بیش از درصد از خانم ها حداقل یک بار از رنگ مو استفاده نموده اند و یا به طور منظم مو را رنگ می کنند. یکی از مهم ترین علل رنگ کردن مو تغییر رنگ مو های خاکستری و پوشاندن سفیدی مو می باشد. بیش از درصد از رنگ موها از نوع اکسیدانی یا دائمی هستند. مخلوط آب اکسیژنه و یک عامل قلیایی (مانند آمونیاک) سبب روشن شدن رنگ طبیعی مو می گردد و به دنبال آن استفاده از رنگ های دائم غیر قابل شستشو با آب سبب جایگزین شدن این رنگ، در مو می شود. با توجه به پیچیدگی ساختار شیمیایی مواد سازنده رنگ مو، درنظر گرفتن سلامت و کیفیت این فرآورده ها بسیار دارای اهمیت می باشد. رنگهای مو دو کاربرد عمده دارند: مخفی نمودن موهای سفید شده

مواد اولیه سازنده شامپو | ترکیبات شامپو

شامپو آمیزه ای است از آب، مواد فعال کننده سطحی و مواد افزودنی. آب بخش عمده فرمولاسیون شامپو را تشکیل می دهد و ماده پایه ای شامپو محسوب می شود. سورفکتانت ها، پاک کننده های اصلی شامپو هستند. سایر موادی که در شامپو وجود دارد، برای تقویت کف، افزایش ویسکوزیته، اصلاح بو، رنگ و همچنین برای جلوگیری از فساد میکروبی شامپو به آن اضافه می شوند. در این مقاله هر یک از اجزاء تشکیل دهنده شامپو به طور خلاصه تعریف می شود.
